Fundamentals of Pro Cooking

Summary

Would you like to build skills for work in the culinary/restaurant industry? If so, this course is for you! Learn how the food industry operates in the back of house kitchen. After this course you will understand food service techniques, food safety, and other food production basics. Hands-on training is part of the course, and upon completion you'll be prepared for employment in restaurants, hotels, catering companies, and health facilities.

Requirements

You must bring the following to class:

  • ServSafe Manager, 7th edition revised, with Online Exam Voucher – Product SKU: ESV7R. You can purchase the textbook here or check our campus bookstore for availability.
  • Photo ID – exam will not be administered without a valid ID
