Basic Rider Motorcycle Safety

Summary

If you're new to riding or haven't ridden in a long time, our Motorcycle Safety course is necessary. You'll become familiar with the location and operation of controls while riding on a protected range, and you will learn the basic skills needed to safely operate a motorcycle in traffic. The 16-hour course is taught by nationally certified instructors and is held on weekends. Upon successful completion, you will earn a skills waiver card for the NCDMV. The fee is non-refundable. Class size is limited and will operate rain or shine. This course is not accepted as a license waiver by any state Department of Motor Vehicles or as a license to ride a motorcycle on a learner's permit. 

Requirements

The eP1x11 course curriculum is used for this course. An email from Craven Community College with the  link to a required 5-hour online course will be sent to you approximately 1-week prior to this class. Complete the online course, print the certificate, and give it to the instructor on the first day of the class.
